I'm a graphic designer and art director based in West Los Angeles, and I've always had an obsession with storytelling. I grew up watching Stanley Kubrick films and being a ‘distraction to other students. During my Intro to Contemporary Art class in college, I watched a video of Marina Abramović pour a gallon of milk on herself in a gallery. For the first time in my life I knew exactly what I wanted to do, become an artist.

From intern, to junior designer, to assistant gallery director (or assistant to the gallery director), to graphic designer... I picked up a few skills.
I spent the first two years of art school learning tools and methods of making, getting off the computer, and turning to analog systems wherever I could. Most projects were given to us in groups of three or five. Project briefs helped curate a singleness of purpose, however, we were allowed to use any medium necessary to complete the task. This interdisciplinary approach to design fostered a sense of connection to materials, to my colleagues, and to the end product.
